Person Specification
For this role, you must be a professional and eager Science graduate who has earned a second class degree or better and has the drive to display your passion for education. The right applicant will have a genuine appreciation for your subject that will shine through in your lessons; you will also have a commitment to education and be intrinsically motivated to train to be a teacher.

About the Role
This Science Teacher Training role involves you supporting teachers within the department that matches your skills, experiences, and qualifications. As a Science Teacher Teaching Assistant within the first year, you will be aiding the class teacher supporting low or high ability children: in mainstream lessons; in booster groups; and 1:1 sessions. This Science Teacher Training position involves becoming part of a school that works hard to give all TAs and LSAs extensive guidance by assigning them a mentor: yours will be a Senior Teacher. You will have the responsibility of teaching within a department favoured by pupils and working, supported by an established and successful leadership team. This Science Teacher Training position involves practising where the need is greatest to support lessons and preparing the classroom for the day ahead.
