Sales Ledger Clerk
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a fantastic business within the Sheffield area. They are currently seeking an additional Sales Ledger Clerk to join their well established and stable finance team on permanent basis. The purpose of the role is the raising of Contract and Sales Ledger Invoices and the posting and allocation of Cash Received. Duties & Responsibilities will include: -Raising Contract and Sales Ledger Invoices -Managing the Accounts Receivable In-box -Dealing with invoice queries -Maintaining spreadsheets -Downloading the Bank Statements and posting of Cash Receipts -Knowledge of the VAT Treatment of Construction Activities -Dealing with members of the public and taking credit card payments over the telephone -Balancing of the control accounts at month end and completing the month end reports -Ad-hoc duties as required To be successful you MUST have the following attributes: -Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Excel -Excellent communication and customer service skills -Demonstrate good time management, working to deadlines and adhering to set procedures -Needs to be versatile and adaptive The successful applicant to this role will enjoy a rewarding career as well as job security and a friendly working environment.
