A brilliant new role for a Group Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager is required for a leading Engineering business in West & North Yorkshire. Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing are exclusively recruiting for a Group Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to join a growing business in West Yorkshire. -The Group Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager will report directly into the board and sit on the Senior Leadership Team. The position is a standalone role with a number of people reporting into the position indirectly -This role will focus and gain a thorough understanding of the existing manufacturing and operations processes, analysing their effectiveness -You will develop and implementing an improvement plan aligned to the Organisation's overall goals in order to ensure optimum standardisation of business processes and efficiency improvements -The role will lead continuous improvement programmes within the business, developing strategies and incentives and standardising approaches to enhance business performance. -You will create, develop & implement strategic improvements within all areas of the business. This will include people, processes and product. -You will strive to work with the rest of the Senior Management Team to improve key metrics including; Product Quality, On Time Delivery rates and ensure the products are Right First Time. -The Group Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager will develop systems, processes and procedures to reduce the overall cost of Quality. -You will work with the Board to implement and drive a continuous improvement culture throughout the business without alienating people with unnecessary jargon. -To train and develop employees within the business in in CI Techniques and work with the HR Department to roll out any necessary training initiatives. -As a key member of the Senior Leadership team you will be instrumental in driving a strong Health & Safety culture on site. -The post holder will need to be a real change agent to identify opportunities for improvement, and implement the relevant techniques required to have a positive impact on the Company's bottom line. Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing would be keen to speak with Senior Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager's with the following skills and experiences. -Experienced in a Quality Manager's role with good knowledge of Continuous Improvement and driving improvements. -Strong business and commercial sense, enthusiasm for working closely with all departments to support business improvements throughout. -Have the ability to influence senior management, staff and other stakeholders within the business. -Demonstrable examples of improving site performance and reducing cost of Quality.
