The Product Quality Manager will be a key player in the plant leadership team to establish a high level of compliance across our current and future product portfolio.   • Safety is our priority #1, thus you ensure the safety of yourself and your teammates. You perform safety observations/audits during plant visits, and you share your findings and recommendations with plant leadership team.
  • You maintain our Quality and Hygiene management systems. You facilitate internal audits and external certification audits.
  • Internally you work closely with other departments to prepare internal policies, procedure and work instructions. Externally you work with our customers and suppliers to agree and prepare standards and specifications.
  • You are directly involved in complaints received from our customers, which required you to work closely with Sales, QC and Production teammates to establish root cause and implementation of corrective actions.
  • You have direct involvement with internal complaints which relate to purchased materials and you liaise with purchasing and suppliers to ensure an investigation result in the implementation of a robust corrective action.
  • You are the quality contact for liaising directly with Customer, Sales, Technology and Production to implement New Products, Product Improvements and Cost Reduction programs.
  • You demonstrate analytical skills by superior use of Data, Root Cause Analysis and lean tools to improve Quality and eliminate waste. These skills you also apply when analysing all Customer feedback for the site to identify trends and provided continuous improvement.
  • You facilitate the setting of Plant Quality Objectives and you train, coach and mentor Plant Quality personnel, and other departments, in Quality tools and processes. This requires you to have effective communication skills and the ability to drive engagement.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality role within manufacturing environment.
  • High degree of analytical skills with excellent communication.
  • Experience in Leadership/Management
  • Knowledge of SPC and control cards.
  • Excellent computer skills, experience in Microsoft office and email.
  • Experience of customer complaint management software.
  • Experience with 8D, Ishikawa and 5 Why.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • Logical with attention to detail

  • Enthusiastic with a drive for continuous improvement
