An opportunity for a professional graduate destined for a career in primary education has arisen at a welcoming primary school in central Birmingham as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant.

*** 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant in an Outstanding Primary
*** Working 1:1 with a student diagnosed with having ASD
*** £60 - £70 per day for the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
*** Long term SEN Teaching Assistant post lasting the full academic year
*** Graduate role
*** Training and support for all SEN Teaching Assistants

About the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Role

- The role will see you assisting a young student with ASD in Year 4.
- Your main responsibilities will see you working closely with the class teacher and pupil to ensure smooth delivery of the Education and Healthcare Plan (EHCP).
- Part of the role will see you liaising regularly with the students' parents

1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Specification

- A bright, cognitive graduate who wants to work with children who have Special Educational Needs
- If this your first paid role in education, having an interest in the subject and an initiative to enjoy the role and get involved
- Previous experience in a school would be an advantage in gaining a role quickly with EduStaff. Voluntary and personal family/friend experience is of great advantage, having a natural sensibility is always useful
