Apprentice IT Technician
Employer Description: Retell has been creating award-winning call recording solutions for its clients for over 30 years. Whether you have a couple of extensions or thousands of channels we can help you monitor and manage your telephone calls and support your business ; Main Purpose of the job: To assist with system health checks, solution builds and tickets whilst ensuring that customers are given the best customer services ; Being fully competent in building and repairing IT equipment and therefore this role requires a high level of IT literacy, presentation skills and excellent PC technical ; To use strong problem-solving skills, a logical mind, excellent communication skills throughout all mediums to resolve customer ; Main Responsibilities: To provide first class technical support by telephone, e-mail or remote access To answer technical emails in a timely manner To share technical solutions with Technical colleagues and logged on the knowledge database To manage workload effectively ensuring that customer requirements and expectations are met at all times and exceeded where possible To ensure a good technical working knowledge of all ReTell products is maintained and take initiative to learn To ensure Sales team are kept informed of technical issues with customers that have been resolved in order for them to contact the customer to ensure complete satisfaction To ensure all documentation is filled out completely and correctly To ensure that tickets are kept up to date and chased accordingly Desired skills: Have a keen interest in IT and are looking to start your IT career Somebody who is a self-starter Someone who is eager to learn more. Desired qualification requirements: 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above. Important Information: QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education. To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
