Job Title: Purchasing and Stock Manager
Location: Borehamwood
Salary: £30-40,000 (Depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Our pharmaceutical client is seeking an experienced procurement professional to join their team as a purchasing and stock manager at their Borehamwood office.

The successful individual will have previous procurement experience and will be looking for an exciting new opportunity.

Job Duties:
  • Developing a purchasing strategy and ensuring that this is implemented with the businesses best interests as a priority
  • Negotiating with external suppliers to ensure that the business is paying the best prices for quality products and maintaining relationships with the external suppliers
  • Monitoring usage patterns and stock to ensure that purchasing is adequate to avoid products going out of stock
  • Ensuring that the stock data base is maintained and cleansed when necessary

Person Specification:
  • Educated to a degree level
  • Previous experience within a similar procurement role
  • Strong negotiating skills with confident and clear communication skills
  • IT literate with strong MS Office skills
  • Previous experience using SAP highly advantageous

Additional Information:
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (Max of 4 days to be used over Christmas shut down)
