The Careers & Enterprise Company was established in 2015 to help link schools and colleges to employers, in order to increase employer engagement for young people. Our mission is to prepare and inspire young people for the fast-changing world of work.
This is an exciting time at The Careers & Enterprise Company. During our first three years, we have worked with Local Enterprise Partnerships to build a national network which now links 2,000 schools and colleges to employers. We have also funded 150 programmes to provide high-quality employer engagement activities to young people where they are needed most.
As the Area Manager (London) for our Enterprise Adviser Network, you will ensure the success of our delivery across London. Reporting to the Director of Network, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective performance of the Company’s delivery network, ultimately comprising 4,000 business volunteers to be connected with every secondary school and college in England. You and your Regional Lead will be the face of The Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC) on the ground, and the voice of London within the company, building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring successful integrated delivery of the company’s programmes. You will lead a virtual team also including colleagues leading on employer engagement and education stakeholders to ensure that we join the dots internally.
