Marketing Director - Global AWCJob DescriptionMarketing Director - Global AWCLocation : Watford, UKThe role is responsible for the development and execution of the global strategic marketing plans for the ALLEVYN exudate management franchise. The role encompasses but is not limited to the strategic development and portfolio management of the ALLEVYN range, ensuring clear direction for brand, evidence, product, category and market access development, plus ensuring the effective delivery of brand strategy and appropriate downstream marketing programs. The role requires leadership and ability to engage with key stakeholders to build consensus for an aligned ALLEVYN strategy reflective of the global vision whilst ensuring local market opportunities are realised.Position FunctionsMarket Landscape & Voice of Customer (20%)Develops strategic insights based upon the understanding of clinical trends, care delivery and payment leveraging insights from KOLs, advisory boards, S&N markets and market research programs.Develops strategic insights based on the knowledge and understanding of global, regional and local health care systems and competitive market dynamics.Builds insights and knowledge of the customer and market and communicates this internally. Creates and drives successful customer orientated marketing plans.Assesses the brand and defines the brand and commercial needs (margin, competitor advantage, and positioning and value propositions).Voice of the Customer Strategy Development (20%)Builds insights and knowledge of the customer and market and communicates this internally. Creates and drives successful customer orientated marketing plans.Assesses the brand and defines the brand and commercial needs (margin, competitor advantage, and positioning and value propositions).Lead the development & execution of a Global Marketing Strategy for Exudate Management and the ALLEVYN brand, ensures effective collaboration with the rest of the AWM team and with the in-market Sales & Marketing teams to deliver sustainable growth & outperform the market. Particular focus on supporting the US growth ambitionBrand Management & Champion (40%)Act as the global champion of OneNPWT and RENASYS, provide thought leadership regarding development of solutions and global positioning for associated products, drive implementation downstream, including development of assets to support the strategyLeads and delivers overall global exudate management portfolio strategy, including brand management, market development and product lifecycle management. Develops strategy, value propositions and key messaging to support value creation to drive key brand performance (ie sales, share, awarenessand awareness).Develops digital and channel marketing strategies to engage health care professionals, patients and health care providers through the delivery of digital marketing and education programs.Working with the scientific comms team, identifies key opinion leaders and drives programmes to deliver thought leadership for the brandDevelops strategy for NPD opportunities, leading business case development in conjunction with key markets and the cross-functional NPD, Regulatory, clinical and manufacturing teams.Responsible for leading the new product launch effectiveness program across key markets and regions to ensure business case targets are achieved.Works closely with regions and markets in order to create and implement new channel strategies, propositions and new target customersWorks closely with clinical, medical education and HEOR teams to identify, develop and deliver new indications for the brand and strengthen existing onesMarket Support (20%)Ensure global strategy is aligned with regional and local requirements to generate above market performance, to ensure successful commercial execution of brand strategy and marketing initiativesResponsibility for the management of the central A&P budget, while monitoring investment levels by individual markets to sustain franchise growth & profitability.REQUIREMENTSTravel: International travel required (3025-40%) as well as frequent travel to other UK sites.Education : Degree in either a business, medical or science discipline is required.Post graduate qualification in business or marketing desirable.Licenses/Certifications : Driving license required for business travelExperienceAt least 7 years of experience in commercial roles in Medical Devices, with a positive track record of direct influence to results, and gradual growth in seniority.
