Elevation Recruitment Group Accountancy & Finance is working with a well-known, highly credible business in Nottinghamshire as they expand their team with the appointment of an Accounts Payable Clerk. This opportunity is a fixed term contract covering a period of 6 months.

The purpose of the role is to undertake day-to-day clerical tasks within the Accounts Payable department; process supplier documentation, from raising orders, through to posting of invoices, as well as processing staff expenses.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

-Raising department orders
-Issuing remittance advice
-Validate travel expense claims
-Calculating appropriate VAT
-Input expenses onto the accounting system
-Match supplier invoices to goods received notes
-Complete major supplier statement reconciliations
-Investigate aged GRNI discrepancies to validate the accuracy of the GRNO accrual
-Various administrative support duties as required for the role

Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak to applicants with the following:

-Excellent level of Microsoft Excel including Pivot tables
-Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
-Experience within a fast paced, high volumes accounts payable environment
-Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines
-Available to commit to the full 6 months
