Through growth, this superb international Technology company in Cambridge is seeking skilled Full Stack Web Developers to join their proactive Web development function focused on building high performance, flexible & reusable web applications & components.

For building customer focused applications & web components platforms, the Full Stack Web Developer will need good vision & creativity to make complex solutions easy for both technical & non-technical customers to use & navigate intuitively whilst enjoying the experience!

As an integral part of this positive & supportive Web Development team, the Full Stack Web Developer can expect:

- A good variety of designing, implementing and supporting highly scalable front-end applications and backend systems / web services.
- To translate highly complex visual designs and business needs into clean, usable and understandable solutions
- To work with their team to define & set optimal standards and patterns
- To craft solutions with influencing performance of microservices

and will need:

- Experience of developing both front end and back end services.
- Strong experience of front-end technologies ideally including: React JS, HTML 5, CSS3, Javascript
- Ideally experience of API development, integration, Cloud (preferably Azure) and server-side technologies
- Experience of automation is required – Automating builds or deployments etc
- The desire to work in small high-performing, self-starting teams where the flexibility to support others is given & received

Desirable Skills & Experience

- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS, ECMA 6 or Typescript and principles of responsive design
- Strong Front-End Framework Architecture and how to use and optimize them.
- Backend application and API development experience ideally in Mulesoft. C# and/or Java is highly desirable
- You build tested code, which operates within the CI / CD pipeline (Git / GitFlow, Jenkins, Selenium, JMeter / Blaze Meter)
- Experience with cache technology (Memcached, Redis) is useful
- Solid grasp of coding standards and guidelines for various languages and a desire to craft beautiful code is required.
- An understanding of REST and how to effectively build and run APIs.
- You are comfortable translating designs (e.g. wireframes, mock-ups, and requirements documents) to engineering teams.
- You understand key principles of design thinking, what it is and why it is important, and how technology can be used in the process to explore all possibilities regardless of their source.
- You can translate user-centred design requirements into technical implementations for projects.
