Element has an opportunity for an Ergonomic/Human Factors Engineer to join our Consultancy team at FIRA International in Stevenage. This is a great opportunity to develop your career with a global Testing, Inspection and Certification organisation.
Responsibilities
Working with our Chief Ergonomist you will:

Work with customers and clients to carry out trials of how they use furniture and associated productsAssist furniture designers to evaluate prototypes and offer ergonomic adviceAssess products and users for fitness for purpose, safety, risk and comfortTest furniture to evaluate against dimensional and ergonomic standardsInteract with other members of the ergonomics team to develop and run projectsSkills
A degree, or equivalent experience, in ergonomics, product design or a related fieldWhere appropriate we will provide training to extend your ergonomics expertise and support for further ergonomics qualificationsGood written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to communicate with people at all levelsThe ability to organise and prioritise work and meet tight deadlinesStrong IT skillsThe ability to work under own initiativeA highly motivated individual who consistently produces a high quality of workA strong team playerWe are Element, one of the fastest growing testing, inspection, certification and calibration business in the world.
