The incumbent will be responsible for the successful implementation of the ClickSoftware suite of products. Our variety of customers are in multiple industries and sizes that vary from mid-market to enterprise. We take great pride in the way we engage with customers and the Consultant/Project Leader role is pivotal to the way we do it. This position requires excellent project management skills and capabilities, combined with strategic stakeholder management and account management skills. The ideal candidate is well-organized, feels comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, vendor environment and able to lead a global team of professionals to a successful and valuable solution for our customers and partners.Responsibilities:The primary responsibility of the Consultant/Project Leader is to lead successful ClickSoftware Cloud-based and on-premise software implementations within project timelines and budgets. You will manage the project including developing work plans, scheduling resources, setting goals and priorities, tracking and resolving issues, and customer acceptance.The Consultant/Project Leader will be the key point of contact for communication of project status to all customer and internal stakeholders, including Senior Management and will facilitate business & operational relationships between clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.You must be able to work with Solutions Architects and other technical resources to clearly articulate customer needs internally, and represent ClickSoftware professionally externally. You will be responsible for effective management of multiple concurrent, software projects to a diverse customer base.You will be responsible for managing and tracking project budget, utilization, and other project-related costs as well as managing changes to project budget and scope, through formal change management processes. You will work with assigned teams to help forecast and achieve revenue objectives on a quarterly basis.The Consultant/Project Leader will occasionally be required to travel to customer sites for meetings and status updates up to 30%.Serve as the senior delivery lead for consulting professional services engagementsServe as the day-to-day Senior Project Manager for one or more of our larger, more strategic clients/engagementsManage the technical, business and personnel aspects of consulting software implementation engagementsMaintain an accurate budget and revenue backlog for sold client engagementsEnsure deliverables are of the highest quality to promote client satisfactionExcellent in development of strong Client Relationships through communication and influence abilitiesTeaming with Sales to collaboratively drive ongoing client development activitiesDeveloping proposal overall estimates of the effort, resource requirements, and scheduleAnalyzing pricing/approach options and advising the Regional Director on related business considerations and impact of different optionsLeading risk-assessment efforts during the project and leading appropriate risk mitigation strategiesRequired Qualifications:10+ years of experience in managing projects and implementation of enterprise software5+ years of experience with the implementation of enterprise software in cloud based environments6+ years’ experience in a team-leading role with direct responsibility for managing the activities (task assignments, budgets, schedules, etc.) of three or more team membersMust have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsAbility to work with all levels of the organization (development, sales, marketing, operations and within the Professional Services Group) in a fast-paced environmentExperience developing effort estimations and authoring Statements of WorksDemonstrated experience on IT Project Management concepts, practices, tools and procedures, methodologies and requirementBachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related studiesAdditional Preferred Qualifications:Experience delivering projects with agile methodologyFamiliarity with the service industry, scheduling, or logistics is a big plus.Previous experience working for a software vendorPMP or PMI-ACP Certification
