Through a team of Contract Managers and Contract Analysts the role will provide the primary conduit to all suppliers for addressing commercial and contractual issues during the lifecycle of the agreement. The role will act as a point of escalation for operational issues that cannot be resolved through operational relationships or the Service Management team.The role will work collaboratively with operations, legal and procurement to ensure that the required service is sourced and delivered.Purpose statements: Set Direction: Creates and owns the sourcing strategySet Direction: Ensures suppliers and their agreements are aligned to the objectives of PrudentialTo Operate: Understands the key commercial levers available and presents options to the Executive team to enable delivery of commercial objectivesTo Operate: The contractual framework for service, allowing for effective dispute resolution outside of the operating windowTo Advise: Collaborates with operational owners, procurement and legal to fulfil new requirements and implement the sourcing strategyKnowledge statements:Detailed KnowledgeUnderstanding and interpreting legal agreementsThe management of Procurement and Supply ChainConducting strategic assessments Interpreting financial analysisManagement of financial riskWorking KnowledgePrudential’s products and servicesThe regulatory framework within which the agreements operateExperience statements:Significant ExperienceLeading a team in a complex multi service, multi-vendor environmentExperience of managing a complex array of internal stakeholdersSuccessfully building the right relationships with suppliers to maximise performancePersonal attribute/skills:Essential: Excellent stakeholder engagement (internal and external)Essential: Commercial acumen.
