We are pioneering solutions that are driven by client needs, with successful recent partnerships including Flexion and Pacira.We currently offer solutions spanning the entire pharmaceutical life cycle to help pharma and biotech companies of all sizes meet their complex development and manufacturing needs at any stage or scale enabling us to deliver a combination of unrivaled quality, reliability and compliance, backed by a reputation for scientific and technical excellence.The range of services at ThermoFisher for drug substances and drug products is wider than that of any other CDMO and we offer end-to-end capabilities and expertise to take your discovery from pre-clinical and clinical development, through scale-up, all the way to commercial supply across more than 40 oral solid, sterile and softgel dosage forms.Key Accountabilities This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the manufacture and supply of our clients products which ultimately reach global markets.The successful applicant will work with our manufacturing teams and suppliers to ensure forecasted production targets are met by planning and co-ordinating cross-functional activities.This is a diverse and challenging role with accountabilities including but not limited to:Follow Company procedures to ensure tasks are completed in an efficient and effective wayEnsure cGMP is applied in their area of work and comply with cGMP in all areas of the business.Ensure Good Housekeeping practice is applied in their area.To perform effectively the integrated key functions of demand management, sales order administration, production planning and procedural compliance.To provide information to support business management regarding forecast revenue, predicted client service performance, backlog analysis, direct labour requirements and production plan compliance.To operate and execute a robust weekly planning cycle feeding in to the monthly Sales, Inventory and Operation planning cycle.To provide the operations interface with a capacity levelled, viable set of plans with sufficient visibility to ensure the warehouse and operations teams can effectively manage the utilisation of their resources.To maintain a strong commercial rapport with both internal and external Customers.To represent the company in commercial dialogue to ensure that relationships between the Company and its Clients are maintained at a professional level.To support the Supply Chain Manager and Site Leadership Team to ensure that corporate requirements and requests are met.ExperienceTo be considered for this role you will be either: An experienced planner with experience within the Pharmaceutical industry A recent graduate in a relevant field looking for an opportunity to develop into a planning roleIn addition to this we are looking for an individual who is able to demonstrate:Numerate and analytical and capable of grasping the overall business position based on a fluid dynamic set of data.Excellent communication skills and capable of operating at all levels both within and outside the business.Must possess a strong business and work ethic and be capable of balanced decision making that benefits the needs of the business.Must be capable of remaining focused on the customer perspective to ensure the business performance is aligned with delivering enhanced levels of service.Perform as an inclusive team player supporting the rest of the team to ensure that the team objectives are met.When applying for this role, please use the 'cover letter' of the on-line application to describe how you meet the competencies for this role, as outlined in the job requirements above.The information that you have provided in your cover letter and CV will be used to assess your application.Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
