Our long standing client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
This is a full time, permanent role paying up to £25000 per annum.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts
- Preparation of monthly VAT returns
- Oversee and maintain the purchase ledger
- Preparation of accruals and prepayments
- Credit control
- Preparation of reports for senior management
- Preparation of the weekly payroll
- Weekly & monthly bank reconciliations
- Overseeing payment runs
- Matching PO's and invoices
- Processing staff expenses
- Set up accounts for new suppliers
- Other administrative responsibilities as required
Skills & Experience Needed:
- All round accounts experience; including AP, credit control, reconciliations.
- Able communicator, both written and verbally, with the ability to build relationships with people
- Organised with a meticulous eye for detail
- Able to manage a busy, diverse workload and prioritise tasks
- Relevant qualification highly desirable
