Helpdesk Team Leader - to c£32,000 - Based Preston

This progressive and innovative MSP & IT Technical Solutions provider is seeking to recruit a Support Desk Team Leader to manage a small team who provide 1st/2nd line support to a variety of clients. In a hands-on role you will be responsible for ensuring that Client SLA’s and Helpdesk KPI’s are met/exceeded and resolving escalated support issues.

You will be expected to review current procedures and escalation processes and make recommendations for improvement.

With previous Team Leading and 2nd / 3rd line support experience you will possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, be a team player and very customer focussed.

Your technical skills should include a wide range of Microsoft technologies inc

  • Windows Server 2008 - 2016 (19)
  • Active Directory admin
  • MS Exchange admin (hosted /on prem)
  • O365 - set up, portal etc
  • Back-up technologies
  • Firewalls / Networking (DNS, DHCP)
  • Remote Desktop Deployment

Other skills of interest include: VMware, Hyper-V, Linux (SUSE), Network Monitoring, Azure, SQL Server, Printer set-up.
