Paid Acquisition Manager
Opening with a niche and trailblazing insure-tech provider based in South Manchester, who work within the lifestyle sector and are very much marketing led. They're now looking for a fresh-thinking, dynamic Paid Acquisition Manager to join their growing digital and marketing team.
The uniqueness of this role is that you will be joining a team that is truly evolving but has retained a great culture. You will be working closely with the Head of Marketing and wider marketing team and will be responsible for driving sales across several business-critical digital channels, including PPC, programmatic, display and paid social. The largest channel is PPC and continuously improving performance is critical to business success. You will own the DoubleClick account and will be adept at using DoubleClick to manage and report on individual channel performance. It will be a really varied role involving the planning, setup, implementation, tracking, analysing and optimising of PPC campaigns using DoubleClick Search Ads 360, in order to deliver monthly sales growth and CPA targets. Additionally, you'll manage paid social activity to achieve required KPI targets and will conduct a monthly presentation of results to the Marketing Director and Managing Director, whilst also working closely with the SEO Manager to ensure that learnings/results from paid channels are shared and opportunities are maximised.
What we're looking for
This is a chance to work for a very grounded and culturally sound organisation and would suit an agency or in-house digital practitioner with at least 5 - 10 years' experience, and an expert in leading and developing PPC campaigns. You'll also need experience with Google Analytics and Bing Ads as well as an understanding of automated bidding solutions and custom AdWords scripts. It is essential that you possess substantial experience in the use of paid search management and tracking tools as well as managing campaigns and relationships. A solid understanding of paid search best practice and working knowledge and/or strong interest in other media channels especially SEO and social media is important, and being Google AdWords certified is an advantage. The role also requires experience in setting up and analysing attribution reporting across digital channels to better understand the customer journey. You will be a strategic thinker who is happy to be hands on in the day to day management of these channels.
