About the School and the SEMH Teacher post:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Part Time Science Teacher with experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The role is based in Wisbech and is to start in September.

*We are looking for a qualified Teacher to work with small groups of students with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
*This is a part time position for 3 days (days can be flexible) per week and the successful candidate will be required to teach (General) Science GCSE
*This is a permanent post to start in September 2019 but there may be an opportunity to start earlier if the successful candidate is available.
*The role is to work with students between the ages of 11-18.


Contract Details for the SEMH Teacher position:

*Location - Wisbech.
*Position - Part Time Science Teacher.
*Type of work - Teaching GCSE Science to students with SEMH.
*Start date - September 2019 (possibly sooner for the right candidate).
*Contract type - Permanent.
*Full time/part time -Part Time, 3 days per week.
*Minimum rate of pay - £23720 pro rata.



Experience, Training and Qualifications required for the SEMH Teacher position:

*Ideally you should hold QTS or QTLS, although candidates with relevant teaching experience may also be considered.
*The ability to teach General Science to GCSE level.
*Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
*A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.
*The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.


To be eligible for the SEMH Teacher post through Prospero Teaching you must:

*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references
