Description


Responsibility for daily banking duties, including setting up transfers, payments and downloading reports from internet banking. Preparation of Income vouchers as required. Maintenance of cash books and preparation of month end reconciliations.Process transactions for the weekly Payables Ledger cycle, including liaising with Suppliers and Staff in other Departments. Maintenance of Suppliers details. Preparation of monthly payroll to a set timetable. Processing input, preparing calculations, maintaining payroll records including statutory deductions. Checking and distribution of monthly payroll output documents and processing of payroll returns. Liaising with appropriate staff and statutory agencies to resolve any queries Maintenance of the Sales Ledger including preparing sales invoices and monthly reconciliation Maintenance of VAT records and preparation of quarterly VAT returns Maintenance and reconciliation of insurance claim records. Liaising with the staff, Insurance Company, sharing owners and owner occupiers as required.To regularly carry out various other month, quarter and year end procedures including preparing and posting journals, updating and reconciliation of spreadsheets including fixed asset registers and various petty cash systems.
