Payroll Assistant - £20,000 to £25,000 - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract Assignment - Reading

My client is a leading business based within Reading with an excellent reputation and business model that is well respected in its sector.

Due to a high volume of incoming quires, our client are in pursuit of a Payroll Assistant to join their team on a 6 months fixed term contract.

Collect, compile and enter payroll data using appropriate software, managing end to end process

Must have UK payroll experience

Review and verify source documents

Calculate and post payroll deductions

Process payroll by established deadlines

Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors

Update payroll records by recording changes

Process new employees, terminations, transfers and promotions

Prepare and print payroll reports of earnings, hours worked, taxes, insurance, leave

Complete requests for pay-related documents including statements and verifications

Dealing with any incoming quires from staff

The ideal candidate will have following skills:

Must have UK payroll experience

1 experience within the payroll arena

Worked in a volume payroll environment
