About The Role:

Working under the supervision and direction of Senior QA Test Engineers/Test Lead and Test Managers to undertake the testing of new and existing software and hardware upgrades to support the delivery of quality IT Solutions. The individual will work closely with Developers, Project Managers, Analysts, Test Engineers and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, creating test scripts, executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution.

Aboit You:

Essential skills include:

Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle

Knowledge of Testing Standards, Test approaches and strategies in alignment with Industry best practices.

Experience in test analysis, design and execution, with the ability to think logically and create test cases and scripts which thoroughly test all aspects of system changes ensuring quality solutions.

Good understanding of Test Environment architecture layers (servers, applications and databases).

Computer literate, with sound working knowledge of Microsoft (SQL, .Net, Java), Oracle (PL/SQL) and basic Unix commands

Other essential information:

Ability to follow processes and procedures (governance)

Strong team player, with good communication skills

Willingness to understand new technologies, acquire new skills and attend internal/external training sessions

Ability to deliver under pressure and to tight timescale

Good analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail.

Desired - Experience of using JIRA and Confluence

Desired - Experience of Test Automation processes
