Teacher of Food and Health & Social Care
PK Education are working in partnership with a Sheffield Secondary School to recruit a Teacher of Food Technology and Health & Social Care. This post is a long-term temporary position, covering a Maternity Leave. This Teacher of Food Technology and Health & Social Care post is due to start on Monday 3rd June 2019. The role will definitely run until the end of the school year and is very likely to be extended well into the new academic year also.
As a Teacher of Food Technology and Health & Social Care, you will be required to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to pupils of all abilities. You will be teaching across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, so a strong knowledge of both Food Technology and Health & Social Care is required. As you will be covering a Maternity Leave, you will be responsible for planning lessons, creating resources and marking the work of pupils.
The school is based in South Sheffield, easily commutable from Sheffield, Chesterfield or Rotherham. The school is a large academy with over 1000 students and is part of a local Multi-Academy Trust. Facilities are excellent and the academy boasts a state of the art building.
