Finance Manager (Fixed Term Contract to cover for Maternity Leave – minimum 9 months)
Contract: Fixed term Contract-Full time
The Role: Working within the CaPS division, as part of the Finance team reporting to CaPS Financial Controller, this role requires a fully qualified Accountant (either CIMA or equivalent professional body) to support the full end to end finance process for month end, feeding into the year end audit process.
This role is to cover for the existing Finance Manager while on maternity leave.It is an exciting time for the CaPS team, with expected growth over the next two years of 100%.As a hands on Finance Manager you will comfortable with:·Revenue recognition, have experience or are familiar with IFRS15 rules, supporting cost to complete calculations for project reporting and cash flow forecasts·Experience of payroll and related benefits, processed through Sage Payroll·Full end to end month end processing·Experience of audit preparation to support year end, and liaise with auditors·Responsible for an accounts assistant·Experience of Access Dimension Accounts ·Forecasting & Budgets to support consolidation into Group accounts·Cash Forecasting monthly in line with month end·Approving VAT submission to Group·Maintaining invoicing between various Group companies, to include intercompany charges·Pension contribution uploading/new starters·Employee Benefits ‘maintenance’ in conjunction with HR – Medical/life·Weekly review of payment run and approval directly on Bank’s website·Utilities maintenance – recharging attached building (Guild House), submitting readings·Liaising with Project Co-ordinator regarding project kick offs.·Ad-hoc requests from Group
Finance is an integral part of the CaPS support team, which includes Commercial, PMO & Sales Support.The Central Operations provides the hub for the flow of information for the whole business.Our aim is to be proactive rather than reactive, and this fast paced role provides variety with no two days the same.If you can think on your feet and like to be busy then this role is the right one for you.
Full training will be given on all our internal systems.

Essential requirements for this role:·Access Dimensions (Finance System)·At least three years Finance Manager/Manager Accountant experience, preferably in a small company·Advanced Excel skills – to include production of pivot tables·Sage Payroll & payroll processing·Excellent communications skills on all levels·Be able to interface with key stakeholders·Have the ability to prioritise tasks with minimum supervision·Be a team player

Other requirements·Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the UK. ·Candidates will need to undergo an internal BPSS check prior to gaining site access. ·Candidates will also need to either hold a current SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check (SC level) upon starting their employment with the company. To gain SC clearance you will normally need at least 5 years’ UK residency.
