Economics Teacher - Independent Sixth Form

Our client, an independent sixth form in Cambridge, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Economics Teacher to join their high achieving, well-regarded institution.

The sixth form is part of a wider group of independent schools that caters for a mix of local and international students. Academic achievement is well above average and many students go on to Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities in the UK and leading universities around the world. As well as KS5, the college also tutor for undergraduate and foundation degree level as well as Pre-U.

Currently, the college requires an outstanding Economics Teacher to support the smooth running of the department. The Economics Teacher will teach engaged students with high aspirations. The successful Economics Teacher will be an economics graduate and an expert in their field, having excellent academics themselves. They will also possess a natural ability to build rapport with young people and be able to break complex ideas and topics down to accessible chunks that students can retain.

There is some flexibility with the timetabling so this role could be full-time or part-time. If a teacher wanted to offer a second subject there might also be scope for this.

Salary will be on the schools own generous scale and be dependent on experience and skill set.
