Accounts & Audit Assistant - About the Role
A great opportunity for an AAT qualified individual to join an approved training practice where they will be able to further their career in practice in a friendly environment. You will gain exposure to a varied client base and the opportunity to work in all areas of general practice including audit.
As the Accounts and Audit Assistant:
You will already have a good level of practical experienced gained in public practice, with excellent bookkeeping skills as well as being proficient in VAT returns, management accounts, statutory and annual accounts.
The successful Accounts and Audit Assistant will have:
- AAT qualification (or almost qualified)
- Previous public practice work experience including:
2. VAT Returns
3. Accounts preparation
4. Audit exposure or an interest in gaining this experience
5. Knowledge of accounting packages Sage / Xero/ QuickBooks
6. Knowledge of Excel / Word / Microsoft packages
7. Knowledge of IRIS would be a benefit
8. Excellent communication skills
