Leading international Travel Systems company with growing major global client base, requires experienced Project Manager with experience of Software Delivery in an Agile Environment to join an expanding team working on new SAAS based Implementations for new customer projects based around pricing, booking management and ticketing systems.
They are looking for a budding junior ish software project manager with a passion for managing the software delivery process. You will, together with the project team, system architects, team leads, and test team, ensure that our projects are delivered on time and on budget, and to the agreed quality standards.
Required Skills and Experience that will be drawn upon in this role:
Delivery of complex, enterprise-wide software solutions
Experience of typical project management systems and tools
Communicating and collaborating with external and internal stakeholders to review progress, resolve project issues, analysing & mitigating risk
Dealing with the change management process
Collaborating with management, business analysts, subject matter experts, system architects, and team leads to create and establish project plans
Tracking and reporting on progress to both internal and external stakeholders per agreed project plans
Collaborating with the management team to deliver concise and relevant responses to RFP's and RFI's
Working with the management team to craft internal and external process documentation required by the legislative environment of the software solutions
Managing & monitoring the development team progress using Agile processes & tools
Customers are located around the world, so you'll need the ability to travel on occasion
A nice to have: A working knowledge of another widely spoken language would be beneficial, though is in no way essential
In this role you will work in a group of highly passionate technology people who want to develop the best systems in their business sector. We would expect that the ideal candidate for this role would have a reasonable technical understanding to enable them to understand the demanding technical environment of the systems (this company works with the MS .Net stack) as this naturally affect the design and delivery of the solution.
