Our client who is an established, rapidly growing business in the Truro is looking for a Finance Manager to work strategically as part of a team, but still be hands on with day to day finance tasks. This is a position which is perfect for an AAT Level 4 candidate who wishes to take the next step in their career.
You will need to have prior experience of managing cash, sales ledger, purchase ledger as you will be overseeing these functions. You will be responsible for the companies bank and balance sheet reconciliations, KPI management and working alongside the other Finance Managers to put together the monthly accounts.
The position will include:
- Assisting with ad-hoc analysis to support the management team, liaising with the group finance manager.
- Management of a small transactional team and overseeing team KPI's
- Stock valuation
- Variance analysis
- Balance sheet analysis
- Monthly reporting , profit and loss, management accounts.
- VAT Returns
The successful candidate will be flexible, commercially aware ideally with experience in practice, manufacturing or retail. This position would suit an energetic candidate who is part way through their qualifications, or AAT qualified looking to further their experience and qualifications. Candidates from a practice background are encouraged.
