Payroll Officer/Manager & Sales Support

Full Time, Permanent

Salary - £18,000 to £30,000

This is a great Payroll & Sales Support opportunity to join this ever-growing organisation. Reporting into the MD and Financial Controller and working alongside one existing Payroll Officer, you will be required to:

  • Processing weekly payrolls and transactions in line with legislation and company deadlines
  • Inputting new starters and removing leavers
  • Conducting ad hoc financial and operational reporting as required
  • Reconciling payroll reports
  • Dealing with candidate queries
  • Printing Previous week timesheets list and chasing of timesheets
  • Processing timesheets
  • Setting up contracts + Tempaid codes + umbrellas
  • Printing timesheets
  • Exporting payroll (Tempaid files and CS)
  • Renaming timesheets
  • Sending payroll to external finance company
  • Sending packs over to external finance company
  • Following invoice protocol
  • Adding payment methods to candidates
  • Checking portals online to see if timesheet have been authorised or invoices raised
  • Chasing debt and queries
  • Creating credits and reinvoices
  • Undertake any other duties that the MD may consider reasonable

To be considered you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 years Payroll experience
  • Experienced user of Eclipse software - ideal but not essential
  • Advanced Excel skills with all round strong Microsoft Office
  • Have processed payrolls on and weekly basis. 50 - 200 workers a week ideal
  • Be a confident communicator on both a written and verbal basis with a keen eye for detail
  • Be adaptable and willing to grow within an ever-changing business
