Digital Platform Relationships Manager
An Independent Record Label are looking for an experienced Digital Platform Relationship Manager, to manage and develop strategic partnerships with key digital partners (DSP’s) such as Spotify and Apple Music. A role that will lead the digital sales and streaming strategy for the UK label roster, leverage the existing network relationships across digital platforms with the aim to grow each accounts business and gain exposure for all artists and talent. Building relationships with local DSP teams in major European markets and maintaining relationships with key digital promotional partners, working with them on content creation, including events and other partnership opportunities.
The role will assure that all digital partners get the assets they require to execute effective promotions, spot trends and look at new innovative ways to develop technology to monitor analytics of streaming platforms (DSP’s) and build reports for key stakeholders both in the UK and the US.
Having a background in relationships management, sales or account management from a Music background will be key for conception and execution of campaign pitches to DSP’s, building fan-focused campaigns tied to subscription platforms and project managing long term streaming strategies for breaking and established artists.
You have exceptional interpersonal skills and have experience gained in a similar role, working for an Indie or major record label or Digital Service Provider (DSP). You can demonstrate experience in subscription services and have the ability to take broad campaign concepts and translate in to partner specific initiatives that result in sales / streams. You have the ability to understand operations, delivery and technology issues. It’s essential that you have a background in client management, account management and digital content sales. Streaming analytics, reporting and strategy experience is required as well as a working knowledge of the Music industry and passion for music and artists.
