Due to significant growth in recent months, our prestigious client based in the Broxburn area is now recruiting experienced production operators for ongoing temporary positions. Our client, a global leader throughout the spirits industry, manufacturing numerous prestigious brands within the whisky, vodka, gin, liquors sectors and with exclusive packaging, is looking to expand their team to welcome an experienced production operative. We are looking for reliable, flexible candidates that can adapt quickly to the changes in shift patterns. Responsibilities for the production operator role includes but is not limited to; Basic operating of production/manufacturing equipment Loading and unloading materials on to production lines/machinery Accountable for numerically accurate picking and packing of manufactured goods. Must have the ability to pack at or above the speed of the production line. Contribute to the production of quality products in line with the Company's Quality Assurance programme applicable to the line and specific products. Co-operating with peers to ensure that issues disturbing line performance are dealt with effectively. The ideal candidate must have; Good practical skills with the ability to work quickly and precisely Ability to work both independently and in small work teams - good team working skills Ability to stay focused while doing repetitive tasks, as well as being able to multi-task while being detail oriented and quality focused Ability to follow instructions with an awareness of health and safety Good written and verbal communication skills with a good level of oral and written English. A flexible approach to work. A sound understanding of manufacturing processes. Strong work ethic and positive, "can-do" attitude A positive work ethic and at least one years' experience in the bottling industry or within a fast-paced production environment, ideally in packaging. High standards of quality control ensuring there are no flaws with any products. Having good attention to detail and dexterity is vital. What to expect in this production operative position; Temporary ongoing, a variety of shifts: Early shift Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm and Friday until1 pm Day shift Monday - Thursday 7.45am - 4.30pm and Friday until 12.45pm Backshift Monday - Wednesday 2pm-midnight and Thursday until 11pm Nightshift Monday - Wednesday 8pm - 6am and Thursday starting at 9pm £8.21-£9.21 Due to the location of the site and shift start/finish times having your own transport will be an advantage.
