I have just taken on a role with a client who has 2 practices within easy commute of each other for an experienced contact lens teacher who wants to be a part of a strong established team.

This main practice is situated in a busy location and has a large and loyal customer base. They already have a very friendly and welcoming team in place who all works for each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care and just looking to recruit an experienced teacher who has a good overall knowledge of the admin side of the department as well as outstanding customer care skills.

You will be working in a small but busy store surrounded by a very supportive and experienced team who are willing to help and aid you in the right direction, as they are big on team building and work to provide an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will entail contact lens teaches, admin side of the department and chasing up as well as it is desirable for you to have dispensing experience to all levels. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience within the contact lens department of an Optician
Desirable to be able to dispense to all levels comfortably.
As an Optical Assistant within this practice you will work on the shop floor in the dispensing team. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general trouble shooting. As a member of the stores team you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

For your efforts a competitive salary package of up to £15,500 to start, dependant on your experience is on offer, along with a bonus scheme and additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
