.Net Developer - Hessle

Salary: £20,000-£35,000

The Company

Our client is a developer and provider of legal software for law firms. Their business consist in an expert, innovative and a creative team.

The Role

  • In depth knowledge in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g. VB6, VB.NET, C#)
  • In depth knowledge of SQL having worked with an SQL platform (e.g SQL Server, MySQL, SQLite)
  • Ability to quickly learn about new IT packages and techniques
  • Enjoy problem solving
  • Good technical writing skills
  • Ability to explain complex information in a clear manner
  • Be able to work as an individual and as part of a team
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines
  • Work in a logical manner
  • You will always ensure that projects are monitored, that the time spent is efficiently logged and ensure that completed projects fall within the projected deadline
  • You must be able to analyse your own work effectively and address bugs that may need fixing

The ideal candidate will be

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Windows Forms (WinForms) applications
  • DevExpress WinForms controls and Dashboards
  • Experience of integrating to RESTful / SOAP Web Services
  • Experience with Visual Studio
  • Knowledge of Accounts and/or the Legal Industry
  • Knowledge of Version Control or Experience with SourceSafe / TFS
  • You will hold a relevant degree or have equivalent experience

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m.-5.30 p.m. with 1 hour for lunch.
  • Starting £20,000-£35,000 dependent on experience
