A Electrically biased Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer at a leading appliances manufacturer

Your new company
Your new company are an established manufacturing organisation with a strong market presence, specialising in the appliance manufacturing sector. They provide high calibre products for multiple high profile clients in this industry.

Your new role
In your new role as the electrical multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will work a shift pattern of double days (06.30 - 14.45 and 13.30 - 22.00 with a 20:45 exit for Friday). Primarily, you will be responsible for:

  • Electrical/mechanical maintenance on CNC wood machines
  • Working towards PPM's and responding to break downs
  • Supporting the maintenance manager with TPM activity
  • Working effectively within the team of 6 and having the confidence to work alone when required
  • Encouraging a positive working environment by embracing a change and engaging well with others
  • Fault finding with PLC's
  • Working with pneumatics & hydraulics


Naturally, you are responsible for the safe work of yourself and your team within the manufacturing environment.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, ideally you will hold a 17th or 18th edition with experience in the manufacturing sector of engineering. Experience working in a FMCG or appliance manufacturing environment would be beneficial. You adopt a can do attitude with a strong reliability focus and a passion for proactive problem solving methods. Adopting a hands-on approach to proactive fault finding comes naturally to you.
