Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

The Company:

My client operates at the forefront of advanced materials processing, with R&D activities within both UK and European funded programmes. Over the last 3 decades they have evolved into experts within special purpose machinery for material processing, developing exciting and innovative projects and growing at exponentially by 25% each year.

The Role:

My client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their exciting and growing team, taking responsibility for the interpretation aof technical specification requirements, engineering detailed design, CAD modelling and production. The role is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to demonstrate and develop their entire skill set by working with a variety of bespoke projects, offering rapid technical advancement. This position will provide the successful candidate with a level a seniority that will advance them to the next professional level.

Essential Skills:


- Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor 3D or Solid Works (Alternative packages considered)
- Ability to design for vacuum, pressure, water, hydraulic, pneumatic, high pressure gas and heat services.

- Large scale plant experience

Desirable:


- Understanding of Temperature gauges and pressure transducers.
- PVD understanding.

- Some working knowledge of Controls and Instrumentation.
