Summary The Senior Marketing and Communications Planning Manager role is critical to our strategic marketing approach at Diabetes UK. It's central to a way of working that puts our audiences at the heart of everything we do, and supports marketing and communications planning across the charity to help us build and deepen engagement. After launching a new marcomms planning process in 2018 we're seeing some really exciting changes to the way we work and the difference we're making. But we know there's more work to do. And that's where we need your help. As a result of a short-term vacancy in the team, we're looking for an exceptional Senior Marketing and Communications Planning Manager to start immediately on a fixed term basis and help us take our marketing planning to the next level. Main Responsibilities Reporting in to the Head of Strategic Marketing, you'll be responsible for evaluating our progress so far, and finding ways to make our systems and processes even better. You'll take a key role in working with colleagues from across the charity to help guide a more strategic approach to our communications. You'll devise new reporting and evaluation processes to prove impact. You'll help teams with the briefing process and use your expertise in marketing and communications to advise and support colleagues to achieve better results. And you'll work with senior marcomms colleagues to help allocate teams and support in the delivery of best in class campaigns. Ideal Candidate This is a senior role for a confident strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and project management expertise. Ideally you'll have a strong marketing background with experience in developing and delivering integrated marketing strategies and campaigns. You'll have significant experience in advising colleagues on communications and marketing planning. You will be adept at building strong working relationships and will use your expertise to build credibility with colleagues and to strategically influence across the charity.
