Since its inception, this independent agency has grown consistently and has picked up a few awards along the way. Because of this, they are looking for an Outreach Executive who can plan, tailor, and share short-form content, in-depth reports, white papers and research across digital, PR, and social media platforms.
The key focus of this role will be content creation - writing blog posts, editorial articles, and social media posts. The secondary focus will be social media management - supporting posts with paid for activity, managing and growing the client's presence/communities across a range of channels. From time to time, you will be involved in media relations - crafting content to secure editorial opportunities, managing incoming media enquiries and building relationships with industry journalists. A key part will also be analytics and evaluation - using Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
What we're looking for
Essential skills and competencies will include solid expertise of the digital marketing space, with a strong content focus as well as experience with analytics tools and data to drive decisions; a great copywriter with a deep knowledge of style and a strong sense of what works across social channels and the ability to work with clients across B2B sectors. In some respects, it may suit an experienced PR practitioner who is more at home with content, but still enjoys client contact, who has no less than 2-3 years' experience in a related environment.
