The Charity Fundraiser is able to work flexible hours with a good work / life balance and is able to work on a permanent or self-employed basis in a variety of locations across East Anglia including Cambridge, Norwich and Bury St Edmunds.
This company was founded in 1996 as a way to generate regular and reliable income for a hospice supporting those who had life-limiting illnesses across mid Essex. From one hospice this award-winning company now supports numerous individual hospices from the Highlands of Scotland to the South Coast of England and they need Charity Fundraisers to continue their essential work.
The Charity Fundraiser will be identifying a strong network of fundraising groups within the community and will develop relationships with local media, press and radio. In addition Charity Fundraisers are responsible for managing administration and compliance paperwork, working to a specific target and creating new opportunities for additional revenue streams. Although there is an element of sales in the role, the company's ethos is not based on a traditional sales approach but rather supporting a charitable cause, so it will be your values and integrity that make you a successful Charity Fundraiser for this organisation.
To qualify... You should be a Charity Fundraiser / Community Fundraiser / Fundraiser / Telemarketing Executive / Sales Executive or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
- You are articulate with an approachable and warm nature;
- Confidence with the ability to communicate with the general public and local press;
- Ability to work within a targeted environment;
- You are passionate and community focused;
- A good sense of humour.
Employed Charity Fundraisers will benefit from a basic salary paid monthly plus uncapped commission, holiday entitlement, pension and healthcare cash plan. Self Employed Charity Fundraisers will have the potential to earn in excess of £50k pa paid weekly.
All Charity Fundraisers will be supported with full training, coaching and development opportunities and regular incentives on offer.
