Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a fantastic, employee focused business based in Wakefield. They are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their business and report into the Head of Finance who will manage and mentor you through your studies!

This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who wants to kick start a challenging and rewarding career with them on a full-time, permanent basis. As the Accounts Assistant, you will assist the Finance team in producing monthly management accounts and other duties will include:

* Production of various regular management reports
* Daily monitoring of bank account balances
* To process Supplier Invoices and supplier payments and to update and maintain ledgers
* The primary point of contact for supplier queries and responsible for incoming/outgoing calls to Suppliers
* Processing of expenses, petty cash and monthly credit card postings
* Assist with the production of the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations to auditor standards
* Provide cover for other accounting functions as the need arises

Skills required:
* Ability to communicate effectively and work on own initiative
* Disciplined approach to managing own workload whilst working to agreed targets and deadlines
* IT literate, very good with excel
* Started CIMA/ACCA
* Credible, open and honest
