Robert Half are currently recruiting a Purchase Ledger Assistant for a rapidly growing business based near Quinton. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant with a minimum of 2 years' experience who is keen to join a diverse team with a great culture.


Purchase Ledger Assistant

  • Obtaining authorisation for invoices received direct from suppliers
  • Processing large number of invoices across a variety of ledgers
  • Query resolution both on email and by phone
  • Full reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Processing contractor invoices and payment requirements on a weekly basis for payment by the AP Manager
  • Allocation of accounts where necessary
  • Review of aged creditors weekly, resolving debit balances on accounts
  • Dealing with the large number of incoming emails
  • Any ad hoc duties as requested by the AP Manager


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Purchase Ledger
  • Good communication skills both oral and written
  • Good level of Excel, Word and Outlook skills. Pivot tables and lookups (desirable)
  • Must be able to process full reconciliation of supplier statements using excel
  • Knowledge of Sage200 (desirable but not essential)
  • Able to work quickly but accurately

Salary & Benefits

£21,000 - £22,000

25 days plus Bank Holidays
