Leyland Behavioural Unit requires Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel are seeking a hard working and experienced Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with a range of needs including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviours. The School is smaller than average and provides education and support for KS2-4 pupils who are no longer in mainstream education, due to their behaviour, mental health or learning difficulties.
The School is based on the outskirts of Leyland with close links to the M6 motorway and is accessible via public transport. The School are hoping to appoint a full time member of staff to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who often display difficult behaviours. The School would ideally prefer a Team Teach trained candidate but this is not essential. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working alongside pupils in vocational subjects too.
The School hours are 8.30am - 3.45pm Monday - Friday and candidates must be available full time in order to be considered for this role.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day
