In this role the product manager will play a key part in this company's growth and development. You will be tasked with gaining an in-depth knowledge allocated products and associated partner companies to be able to speak with authority and provide technical and sales support as appropriate
The ideal candidate will have experience working within office furniture but training can be given. You will need 1-2 years' experience in Product/Portfolio Management role.

*Demonstrating an intimate knowledge of allocated products and associated partner companies to be able to speak with authority and provide technical and sales support as appropriate.
*Developing an appropriate strategy for your portfolio taking advantage of commercial opportunities and ensuring long-term growth with maximum return.
*Developing new products by identifying gaps in your portfolio and to ensure this company has first choice of new products from partner companies.
*Being responsible for implementing and terminating 3rd party agreements and alliances across the Group, therefore managing and reporting on progress against robust KPIs is a critical part of the role.
*Providing product training and associated materials to up-skill employees and dealers to be competent to sell against the competition.
*Being the product guru and possessing detailed knowledge of competitive products for benchmarking and sales arguments.
*Seeing ahead of the game, providing regular product forecasts incorporating planned developments, product life cycle and market trends.
*A good track record in the office furniture industry would be a distinct advantage.
*1-2 years' experience in Product/Portfolio Management is a must.
*You will have excellent project management skills and be very competent in all Microsoft Office products.
*A sociable, persuasive, encouraging and eager communicator who enjoys interacting with people face to face and through written communication
