An exciting opportunity to join one of the Personal Lines Insurance market's biggest employers in their Mid Term Adjustment Department where you will receive a market leading salary and benefits package.

The Adjustments department is an exciting and technical department in the business focusing on the underwriting of the product that is sold.

An Adjustments advisor is responsible for dealing with existing clients queries, not limited to the following:

  • Change of Vehicle
  • Change of Address
  • Additional Driver/ Change of Driver
  • Change of Use
  • Non Disclosed Claims/ Convictions
  • Difference in NCB
  • Revert Cover
  • Passed Driving Test
  • 2nd Vehicle
  • Cancel and Replace

You will be expected to receive inbound calls and make outbound calls to clients, identifying the amendment required, completing the MTA and the MTA Quotation, obtaining a quote from the department underwriter and informing the client of the additional premium or returned premium. If the client wishes to go ahead with the changes.

This department is traditionally the department that will offer progression into underwriting. Once you have established your skill set you would gain your own underwriting authority levels, up to a certain limit. In order to progress the agent and give them ownership of the client they are dealing with and provide a better customer journey.

To be considered you will ideally have existing personal lines or commercial broking experience ideally with exposure to Open GI and or SSP however candidates with strong customer service experience within financial services or contact centre will also be considered.

The interview process will consist of an initial video interview on either phone or tablet followed by a final face to face interview.
