IT Solution Account Manager – Enterprise & Public Sector

Basic Salary £30,000- £35,000 , Uncapped commission scheme 1st year £50,000- £70,000 Company car or car allowance, 31 Days Holiday including Bank Holidays, Option to buy and sell holiday, Childcare Voucher Scheme, Pension

Attending nationwide client meetings to secure new business and develop existing relationships

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and growing IT Services, Solutions and Procurement provider as an IT Sales Solution Account Manager securing profitable new business and generating additional business from existing accounts. Targeting the public sector and enterprise business (customers with +200 users), you will be responsible for the sale of IT services and solutions from a broad portfolio of offerings. This is an exciting time to get involved, with the launch of our ever-expanding procurement digital marketplace.

You will work closely with our Pre-sales and sales specialists and other colleagues in a highly collaborative environment to identify opportunities, close deals and deliver solutions.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have proven experience gained selling strategic services and solutions to enterprise businesses and / or public sector bodies

An understanding of the IT sales lifecycle from customer reviews through to delivery and support
A proven ability to identify sales opportunities and progress through to close, whilst using initiative to cross and upsell

Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills at all multiple levels
An understanding of sales strategy, target setting and forecasting
A commitment to customer service excellence
Must be a proactive self-starter with ambition and drive to succeed
Must have the ability to promote business through networking events and tradeshows
Able to monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
Analytical skills to include data recording, analyse, reporting and detailed gap analyses
