Product Assurance Manager - Surrey
JOB – Quality / Product Assurance Manager LOCATION – Surrey TERM - Permanent SALARY – £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are looking for a Product Assurance Manager on a permanent basis in the Surrey area with experience in the Manufacturing / Aerospace Industry. This will be for an innovative high-end technology manufacturing company who are leaders in their market and looking to expand their team. Your main duties will include assisting to improve and implement new manufacturing processes. The Product Assurance Manager will ideally have the following attributes: •Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree with time served as an Engineer. •Working experience of a Product / Quality Assurance Managerial position as well as excellent knowledge of product assurance. •Previous experience working with High Quality manufacturing environment. •Have the ability to communicate with other members of staff and management. •Good knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing methods. •Experience in a project led design environment. •Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written •Experience working within an AS9100 or TS16949 environment. •Ability to work independently as well as team. Any experience of the following would be very beneficial: •Understanding requirements of ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) •A working understanding of: •Analogue / digital electronics •RF (Radio Frequencies) and / or EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility) The main duties of the role will involve: •Managing the product assurance team including bringing on new resource and monitoring as well as improving the team’s skillsets and capabilities. •Providing support to the product assurance team. •Liaising with the Management Systems Manager and Process Owners, advising on where Product Assurance can be improved.
