Payroll assistant/£10-12ph/Manchester/Temp

Client Details

An exciting opportunity to join an education organisation in central Manchester.

Description

The successful payroll assistant will have the following duties;

  • Maintain employee records of holidays and sickness where necessary
  • Maintain accurate payroll records
  • Build and manage relationships with staff across the business
  • Organise and scan paperwork to employee files
  • Input time sheets for weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Weekly payroll processing and supporting monthly payroll process
  • Deal with first line payroll queries on process and procedure
  • Process P45's and P60's, as well as relevant information for new starters and leavers
  • Assist in both month and year end processes

Profile

The successful payroll assistant will have the following;

  • Have a proven track record within a payroll role
  • Have experience working on SAP Payroll
  • Computer literate and intermediate with MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
