Sub-Contract Accounts Assistant
Sub-Contract Accounts Assistant required for a permanent role in Gateshead.
Working in a small, friendly team you will be tasked with working with a high volume of financial data and will be using Sage Construct to carry out the following:
Entering pay certificates to produce invoices;
Inputting of all invoices, matching invoices to existing purchase orders.
Preparing payments for sub-contractors via either BACS or cheque in readiness for final approval.
Respond to direct telephone enquiries from sub-contractors / suppliers relating to payments made, due or outstanding.
Reconcile statements from suppliers to ensure that outstanding payments can be identified and any necessary action taken.
Expenses authorisation and payment.
Applicants must have recent, relevant experience and an understanding of retention, CIS Tax and subcontractor verification
Up to £25,000 per annum
