Purchase Ledger Clerk
£18,000 - £21,000 pa
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm (37.5 hours)

We are recruiting on behalf of a long established manufacturing company based in the Market Harborough area. Due to continued growth they currently have an opportunity for an organised Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.
Working within a small team environment, the main purpose of this role is to take responsibility of the purchase ledger and support the finance team on a day to day basis.
This is a varied and busy role; duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Input and matching of purchase invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier statements, purchase invoices and orders
- Monitoring and control of petty cash
- Issue payment remittances to suppliers
- General administrative tasks
With proven ability to complete tasks using your own initiative, you will be able to meet deadlines with excellent numeracy skills and a high level of accuracy.
Although not essential, the ideal candidate will have previous accounts experience within an office based role gained within a fast paced environment. You will have a friendly, positive approach with good communication skills.
It would be an advantage although not essential if you hold a relevant qualification such as AAT or equivalent.
