Software Development Apprentice
The Energy Supplier is a company that stands by its values with an aim to help UK businesses take control of their utilities, saving customers time and money every day. They are now looking to expand their business with the acquisition of a Software Apprentice to work alongside the developers at sister company CodePlayground.
Located in the outskirts of Newcastle, you will learn how to build software applications using languages such as HTML5 and CSS!
Salary, Hours & Benefits
- £10,725 per annum
- Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
- 20 days holiday entitlement (plus bank holidays)

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting into the Lead Developer, you will be working within a small team, where there is a strong emphasis on staff development and training.
Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Delivering high quality solutions to agreed deadlines
- Liaising with customers and resolving issues
- Software Testing and Documentation
- Liaising with managers on the progress of development projects
- Work as part of a dedicated project development team, learning and growing with the team and following best practice at all times.
Full support and guidance will be provided by both the employer and training provider throughout the apprenticeship.
