Trainee Store Manager
FULL TIME - PERMANENT - 16-18K
We are recruiting for a household brand who are looking to recruit a Trainee Manager who is keen to enhance their skills within the retail industry.
Purpose of Role:
·To drive sales by maintaining a strong focus on stock availability, visual standards, merchandising, marketing, price integrity and POS compliance whilst assisting the store manager to deliver the store key performance measures in particular this will include a practical understanding of current retail policies and adherence to processes.
·At least 2 years of supervisory/ Key holder responsibility
·Minimum of 5 GCSE’s A to C including Maths and English
·Passion for excellent customer service
·Dedicated to delivering high standards and achieving targets
·Proven retail systems experience (stock control & back office systems)
·Ensure stock is presented and displayed to maximise impact and drive sales, including managing promotional changes, bulk stacks and add-on purchases.
·Ensure products are priced correctly displaying POS, shelf edge labels and stripping where appropriate.
·Ensure advertising is well displayed to highlight promotions and seasonal activities.
·Ensure product rotation takes place on date sensitive products
·Identify the reasons for shelf gaps, and adjust and maintain merchandising plans to reflect this as well as advising the relevant departments to rectify issues that have created the gap.
·Ensure compliance to bay plans
